Everyone is waiting to hear the cast recording of the current Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman’s Follies. Gossip, hopes and rumours are rippling though message boards, social networks and blogs about the recording. Cast member Terri White tweeted about the recording recently, and this production’s Buddy, Danny Burstein, posted on Facebook that the recording will include the complete score on 2 discs. Complete, I suppose, except for “Bolero d’Amour”, which I hear was still not reinstated when this production transferred.

I cannot wait to hear it. Bring it on.
