BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
How’s this for a bit of fun? What were your first CD’s? Bonus points if they are musical theatre related! My first CD’s were Mango Groove’s self-titled first album and the soundtrack of Beauty and the Beast. I still have both of them.

I want to say either the first Spice Girls CD or Now 2, but my friend gave me her brother’s old Ace of Base CD’s around that time too, so it’s a little fuzzy.
Holy crap, Ace of Base!!! I haven’t heard that name in ages. I’ve tried to block it out!
Aw, come on, you’ve gotta love the Norwegians! Lady Gaga’s latest single has inspired me to bust my Ace of Base CDs back out lately.
Long story short: when Ace of Base was at its “peak”, I was working at this indoor miniature golf course and I swear “I Saw the Sign” played in that place ever half hour! I heard that stuff in my sleep! So I’m not the biggest fan…
Ah yes, that’ll do it. Those Scandanavians – they are only good in small doses.
