Miranda/Miranda “Audition”: Spring Awakening
Many are enjoying this new video collaboration by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Colleen Ballinger’s Internet character “Miranda Sings”. The video continues the tradition of the Miranda Sings videos which are a satire of poor singers who promote themselves using YouTube.
I’m trying to find the funny in this one, but it’s just not doing it for me.

With the next season of television production under the spotlight, it may come as a bit of a surprise to some that Fox has announced that there will be a third season of Glee – before they have even begun production on Season 2. Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly revealed his plans in a statement to Entertainment Weekly:
Everything about Glee – from the concept to the characters to the marketing – has been innovative and risky, but with Ryan Murphy tapping into the zeitgeist, the risk has paid off with this truly remarkable series. Glee has one of the most active, devoted fan bases I’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to give Gleeks a third season of their favorite show.
Great news for fans of the show. One question though – does anyone else feel like zeitgeist is annoyingly becoming one of the most overused words in our contemporary lexicon? It’s as if the US publicity machine is proud of the fact that they’ve only recently discovered this 18th century term born out of the German Romanticist movement…
